بسملة، قرآن، صدق الله و محمد (؟)، امر بانشاء هذا المقام المبارك من فضل الله تعالي وجزيل عطايه سيدنا ومولانا السلطان المالك الملك الاشرف ابو النصر برسباي سلطان الاسلام و المسلمين قاتل الكفره و المشركين محي العدل في العالمين (كهف او ذخر) الارامل و المنقطعين ذخر الفقراء و المساكين صاحب ... افضل من حكم في عصره ... المالك الملك الاشرف ابو النصر برسباي ...

Basmala, Quran, God has spoken the truth and so did Muhammad (?). Has ordered the construction of this blessed tomb through the grace of God Most High and His overwhelming generosity our lord and master, the sultan, the sovereign, al-Malik al-Ashraf Abu'l-Nasr Barsbay, sultan of Islam and the Muslims, the slayer of infidels and polytheists, the reviver of justice in the worlds, (the protector) of widows and the dispossessed, the provider for the poor and the unfortunate, (the possessor or provider?) of ... the best of those who ruled in his era ... the sovereign, al-Malik al-Ashraf Abu'l-Nasr Barsbay …
