Inscription Text:

This is the shrine of the lord the imam al-Laith, may God make us benefit from it, amen. Has renovated this blessed place in the reign of our master and our Lord the great sultan al-Malik al-Zahir Muhammad, may his victory be glorified, supervised by the poor one ever in need of God Most High, Abu Bakr b. Yunis, shaikh of the two cemeteries, the sufi, servant of the two imams: al-Shafi'i and al-Laith b. Sa'd, may God's benevolence be upon him, in Muharram in the year 811/May-June1408.

هذا المقام السيد الامام اليث بن سعد نفعنا الله به امين جدد هذا المقام المبارك فى ايام سيدنا و مولانا السلطان الاعظم الملك الظاهر محمد عز نصره، على يد الفقير الى الله تعالى ابو بكر بن يونس شيخ القرافتين الصوفى خادم السيدين الامامين الشافعى و الليث بن سعد لطف الله به فى المحرم عام احد عشر وثمان مائة
