Has ordered the construction of this blessed minaret, his Excellency, the most noble, the lofty, the lordly, the great amir, the sovereign, the masterful, the holy warrior, the defender, the protector of frontiers, the assisted by God, the provider, the magnanimous, the steadfast, the lord, the authority, Saif al-Din Yashbak min Mahdi, executive secretary of al-Malik al-Ashraf (Qaitbay), may his victory be glorified. Dated (88)4/1479-80.
